From the founding of the Olympic Games in 776 BC in Olympia until the early Christian years, the director’s personal research revealed many Cretan athletes who took part and won in the most famous Games in Nemea, Isthmia, Delphi and Olympia. The film was filmed in dozens of archaeological sites and museums and reveals in a poetic way this unknown chapter of the ancient Cretan culture
