Duration: 14′

A screen adaptation of a long forgotten custom from the North Aegean islands and the islands and Bosporos islands dealing with migration. Many a mother were bidding farewell to their young boys only to patiently await for years to see them again the farewell was a ritual of prayers, benedictions and ceremonies so as to secure the benevolence of the sea. The camera giving its due respect to the greek folklore is attempting to reenact the past as if a memorial service to bygone times.
